EXTENDED CARE (1-3 TIMES a year): It is recommended that oiled, varnished and soaped furniture be treated with a care product (oil/varnish/soap) at least twice a year. Depending on conditions such as heat, humidity, sunlight, etc., the furniture may need more or fewer treatments. Also remember to treat the underside of the wood so that it is treated equally, as one side should not be dry while the other is being treated – this can cause movement and cracks in the wood.
