Our tableware is food safe and can, with some care, be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven) are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.

The Ko Family kiln specialises in crafting small items that require patience and care.  Tiny dishes, tea and sake cups plus their popular single flower vases can always be seen lined up on drying shelves in various stages of production. Ko-san’s parents hand-finish all items – smoothing bases, painting edges or perfecting motifs with experienced, steady hands.
